The 3E :: this is Trinity

Pele Sports Trinity 3E, the kick-start shoe of the beautiful revolution. The radical new cleat, designed differently than any other before, a shoe inspired by the king of soccer, Pele himself. Now that’s a pretty ambitious title for a pair of cleats, coming from a brand no one has ever heard of before that started only 2 years ago. Having been a die-hard Adidas consumer my entire life, I felt guilty even looking at another pair of cleats, let alone testing them out. But who couldn’t resist cleats synonymous with the name Pele, a legend beyond comparison?
I sure couldn’t, and I firmly believe that everyone should at least give these boots a try. Never before has a cleat felt so different, so completely game-changing to me as Pele Trinity, immediately I could feel the change in comfort and force generation and quick direction change. In fact the very first day after wearing the Trinity 3E cleats I was sold, never before had boots fit me so perfectly, and the reason for this is truly in the science of the shoe. The Pelé Sports Fan Ambassador Club – March 2012
An American helping rebuild a legendary English club is a special story. Bruce Greenberg is the subject of that story as he does his part in bringing phoenix club AFC Rushden & Diamonds to life and future prominence.

Greenberg arrived in 2006 at a time when Rushden & Diamonds was at the top levels of non-league football. He chose to support R&D even though he had other local options like Northampton Town and Kettering Town. He began following the team, helping out with their radio station and media work.
Greenberg was quite a novelty, an American broadcasting for an English club, and had to carefully avoid using American terminology like “soccer” and “out of bounds”. The novelty quickly wore off as he was quickly accepted by all of those involved with R&D.
But the storm clouds quickly rose over Rushden as the team experienced 2 relegations in 3 seasons amidst some serious financial concerns. Supporters knew the club was in trouble, but no one knew how bad the damage was.
The team was 500,000 pounds in debt with no savior on the horizon. Supporters were only able to raise 50,000 pounds so the idea of a supporter-owned team seemed to be little more than a pipe dream.
“It was a gut-wrenching experience, a blow to the cranium,” Greenberg commented.
The team folded and Chairman Keith Cousions did the unthinkable, allowing hated rival Kettering Town to occupy Nene Park, R&D’s former home.
“Kettering Town was a team we loved to hate,” Greenberg declared.
The move, which Greenberg called a “double whammy,” added insult to injury. Kettering left Rockingham Road to set up shop at the larger Nene Park. Obviously this caused quite a controversy among R&D, who quickly moved to set up a club of their own. Some fans even developed conspiracy theories at how Cousins might have worked a backdoor deal with Kettering Chairman Imraan Ladak.

Within a matter of months, AFC Rushden & Diamonds was born with a youth side taking to the pitch. The club now hopes to join the United Counties League with their first team in 2012/2013, along with adding more youth teams and a woman’s side.
Those involved with this season’s youth team hope that several of the younger lads will graduate to the first team.
Greenberg is high on keeper Ashley Foulger and midfielders Ashley Meeks and Louis Smith. Foulger claimed a 120 minute clean sheet against Rothwell Corinthians, while Ashley Meeks landed the shot of the season against Northampton ON Chenecks. Smith tallied the game winner in the 1-0 victory against Rothwell.
Greenberg has been there from the start and will be there to help the team prepare for the debut of the senior team next season. His good work has not gone unnoticed.
“He has been fantastic this year getting involved with AFCRDTV and showing us how a professional does things,” AFC Rushden & Diamonds Vice Chairman Jon Ward remarked. “We are all delighted to have him on board and he is a real asset to the club.”
Greenberg shows us what it means to be a real supporter, someone who gives their all to see their club grow, flourish, and in R&D’s case to live another day.
Pelé is unquestionably the world’s greatest soccer ambassador, spreading his love of the Beautiful Revolution wherever he goes. He has become the game’s strongest supporter and has been the source of inspiration for millions around the globe. From the streets of New York to the fields of South Africa, Pelé Sports is a name synonymous with passion, creativity and innovating the game the way it should be played. Today’s supporters are not hooligans or fanatics or even überfans, but rather gatekeepers to the true spirit of the beautiful game.

#10 in soccer has historical significance. #10 is usually given to the best attacking playmaker on a team. The player that has good vision to make deadly passes and good ball control. My question is how did the #10 get assigned to this perception? Why not #9 or #7 etc..?
I once heard that it has to do with an old formation and how shirt numbers were assigned. I believe in the old days they would assign squad numbers starting with 1 for the goalkeeper and then moving up through the defence, midfield, and forwards to assign the rest of the numbers up to 11. But what formation was used that placed the #10 shirt into a position that he played such an important role that the #10 wearer had to be a very gifted player if not the best player on the team?

Long before Pelé ran out under bright floodlights to the cheers of tens of thousands of fans, his technique and his match intelligence began on a small pitch – and so this special type of soccer match will always be associated with the greatest footballer of all time. His team at that time was “Radium.”
Now, the Radium is for all small pitch players improving their technique and their game. With this shoe the player can control the ball the way they want to and with any part of the foot.
The sole in the forefoot section of the shoe, adjusts to the shape of the ball when the player rolls the ball or stands on it for ultimate touch.

Does light weight make you a faster player? The answer is “no.” It may help your feet feel light, but if there is a fast player, they are already fast.
However, the 3rd Element of the Trinity 3E is muscle training creating a bond between the players foot and the shoe itself. Using the unique design, the muscles of the foot are engaged with the shoe’s ultra lightweight (5.9oz) and traction have proven to “enhance” the players speed!

TRINITY 3E: CLINICAL DATA & TRIALS
Studies conducted by Professor Ewald Henning, University of Duisburg-Essen’s Department of Movement and Sports Sciences, showed at a very high statistical significance level that the Trinity 3E allows for faster movements when compared to other high performance speed boot products on the market. His research and testing showed that the boot gives the player the advantage in a small or tight space scenario, allowing them to be 40cm closer to the ball while kicking. For longer maneuvers, players can have an advantage of being up to 1.5 meters closer to the ball on the field.
“I was surprised to find how the Trinity 3E had a clear speed advantage as compared to the three other top competitive models we tested,” Professor Henning said. “The strength of the Trinity 3E was especially apparent in cutting maneuvers, which is probably the most important action in soccer.”
