Infinite loop: the Brazilian flag

Everybody recognizes it – flying at the World Cup finals, draped across the shoulders of good-humored football fans, kissed by Pelé after his greatest successes in the selecao:
the Brazilian flag.
We’ve given it a modern interpretation and made it a part of our current Pelada collection: instead of blue, yellow and white, we’re presenting it in black-and-white, transforming it from a flag to an icon.
Because it would be conceivable to use the Brazilian flag design completely differently, placed end-to-end in sort of an endless loop: entirely in the tradition of the no-nonsense black-and-white footballs with their simple patterns, the Pelé Sports Pelada flag endless loop would also be a fantastic football design element.
Our textile designers envisioned this and integrated the design along with actual football patterns into the GRANDMASTER CREW.

Yin&Yang Review
Yin&Yang, the London Fashion and Lifestyle Bloggers have put together a great review and photo shoot of some of the new items in our Pelé Story Collection.
Here’s a snippet about the 10 Fleece Crew, pictured above:
“The navy blue jumper I’m wearing is plain with #10 embroidered in the back. On the front is the Pelé Sports logo of 3 yellow stars. Navy and yellow is a great combination in this case, the yellow on the dark background really draws your eye to the logo. I wore the jumper with indigo jeans and mid brown fcuk boots, a colour palette of yellow, navy and brown makes for an army inspired look. Its sports wear that’s easy to dress up.”
